Just in case someone cares, I enjoy Arch the most on my Pinephone so far.

It's a multi-layered approach: Bitlbee connects to Mastodon (and other services), and I connect to Bitlbee via . All home on a local Raspberry Pi.

I finally got round to trying Mastodon via . Actually works pretty well.

After having played around with different distros on the the past few days, I've decided. Any distro that I use must (at least based on the current situation) have megi's kernel: xnux.eu/devices/pine64-pinepho

Currently it only looks to be (unofficial) Fedora+Phosh that has it included by default, though Sailfish OS is very snappy too. Though that one has terrible battery life. I've noticed too that in any case the phone gets very hot, especially around the 4G modem...

Well, this arrived... I needed another SD card so I can play with other OSes on this with ease so I'm still waiting for that, but first impressions of UT are decent.

So after yesterday's escapades with PSP I decided to get out the PS Vita. Turns out I already had it on 3.60 firmware with Henkaku (but not enso), so installed enso and now have permanent CFW on there. Decided to run on there too, seems to run great (at least from initial checks)!

I do have a 16GB memory card in there but decided to future-proof things a little more and order an SD2Vita so that I'm not beholden to Sony's proprietary memory format. Should be interesting...

Got it running just how I'd like, then...the Memory Stick died. It was rather old and I should've known better, oh well. It does give me a reason to buy a microSD adapter instead though...

Always fun to find that it only supports WEP encryption at most too. Time to get out the mobile hotspot so it can grab updates...

It's also one of the worst platforms for RetroArch it seems, it runs pretty horribly here. At least there are specific emulators on here I can use.

Starting my PSP-3000 up for the first time in years and realising it's both on old firmware and could generally do with a cleanup anyway. Time to hunt down plugins for Infinity/PRO-C 6.61...

Upgraded the shipping on my to DHL so that it arrives in a reasonable timeframe. It's been advised other people do too, as it seems the courier that was doing the cheaper delivery isn't being very reliable during the pandemic (which is totally understandable, of course).

Got global menu working on and got it merged into the project. Expect to see global menubar working in , , and others soon. It will be disabled behind the pref `ui.use_global_menubar` though.

Decided to see how close to my KDE setup I could make . Looking good! With the benefit of being leaner too.

Thankfully there are still ROMs for 9 being maintained, which I'm grateful for.

So I recently switched back to 9 from 10. The notifications panel on 10 is different and I don't like how even "silenced" notifications can still show in the status bar. Plus, since clipboard access to apps is removed I can't use KDE Connect to share the clipboard between phone and PC, which I thought was useful.
