what would you replace or even the whole with? mailbox.org or proton? or ???

@rwaffen I use Proton, and I have the paid account, so I have access to all of their services.

Their email is nice, never had a bigger issue with it. I heavily use their calendar, and it doesn't work as smoothly as Google's one, but generally, I'm fine with it

I use the SimpleLogin a lot for email aliases (it was bought by Proton, and it's available in paid plan).

I don't use their Drive too much (no Linux app, no "real" syncing on Android). And I prefer Bitwarden over Proton Pass

@rwaffen I used mailbox.org in the past for separate email with custom domain, but once their prices went up, I decided to switch to Proton fully (I migrated the email with custom domain, and now I have kinda two emails in one on Proton)

@arek thx for the input :) The Drive function would be somewhat important, but mail and calendar go first.

@rwaffen i'm partial to @Tutanota

i use @CozyCloud for storage

Proton CEO supports fascism so i'm not a fan anymore.

@rwaffen I would argue against replacing all by one suite. It may be a convenient, but you make yourself dependent again. I use #proton for #VPN and drive. #Fastmail for mail and calendar. For Office stuff, #LibreOffice is perfect for me. Passwords in #Bitwarden. I don't lack any convenience working with these diverse tools.

@rwaffen certainly not proton.

Tuta for mail

OnlyOffice or Collabora as collaborative workspace

Pcloud for cloud storage

@rwaffen I went with tutamail and ive had no issues. I'm using proton drive as a replacement for US based cloud storage though

@rwaffen I initially replaced it with Proton, but gradually moving to my own domain hosted in the EU.

@rwaffen Depends on what you mean by "whole Google workspace". Is search engine included? ;) Web browser? Or web rendering engine more precisely?;) I actively use Proton mail, passwords, and calendar and those works just fine for me. But I don't know mailbox.org so can't compare.
