Just read the term “Health Care Consumers” and now I need a shower. America sure is one fucked up little puppy.

"Every tap, button push and keyboard entry is recorded — effectively screenshotted — and sent back to the app developers", including credit card numbers, passwords, etc. When will people stop pretending that the #Apple system of a proprietary walled garden lead to more #security and #privacy? techcrunch.com/2019/02/06/ipho

@polyplacophora @farlopito @fdroidorg Hi! Thank you for supporting us with a paid account. It means a lot. The process of publishing our app on F-droid has already started. We need to make a few steps before doing this. In the next couple of months it should be done. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

We just received a generous donation from the Pleroma Foundation, which brought us above and beyond our Proof of Concept goal on Open Collective!

Thank you so much!

One time I saw someone do this:

* Open safari on their iPad
* Type "google"
* click the google result for google search
* Type Facebook in the google search box
* Tap Facebook search result
* "Why aren't I logged in, I have the app installed" (app is on home screen)

If this is the level of understanding of web / app technology there is little hope currently of doing much about surveillance capitalism.

Czech train/bus operator Leo Express allowed unauthenticated access to data of its customers:

blog.thomasorlita.cz/vulns/leo

– website also allowed reflected XSS
– it was possible to read 10 out of 16 digits of stored credit card numbers (normally, credit card numbers are limited to the last four digits when masked)
– all vulnerabilities are fixed

DNS resolution is a key aspect of our user data #privacy on Internet. Using #Android it's very hard or even impossible to choose a DNS provider.
So we are adding this to our default settings in /e/ e.foundation with our upcoming V1!

#YouCompleteMe sounds like a Valentine's Day thing doesn't it? ❤️

Try full code-completion engine for #Vim 😎

In addition to fuzzy completion, it also corrects common mistakes (maybe add a semicolon here, an apostrophe there), displays documentation for various functions, formats everything, removes unused portions of code, completes your file paths (try typing ./ in a file), and much more!
