I was excited to try it, @hubert had updated nheko in #debian sid already when I looked in the archive.
But because of a bug in gcc 10, the build was failing. So I used an older version of gcc from snapshot.debian.org to build and you can get the new version from

I might add a few more issues to it before it's finalized.
I'm struggling to find an intuitive UX/UI to send (multiple) files and images from my messaging client.
I thought of having a bar like this, where files get added, and can be removed with the x.
But keeping the text input field brings the question which image you are captioning? or caption both? or send a separate message?
same goes for replying to another message, should all separate files be replying to that event? only the first one?
Thoughts and boosts much appreciated

@z3ntu I know you were waiting for mtxclient to get some updates before updating the aur... There have been a number of bug fixes in the master branch at this point that users in AUR might want to get there hands on (they fix some of the nasty issues that users have been encountering).
@z3ntu I recently started maintaining a fork of nheko: https://github.com/Nheko-Reborn/nheko
I saw that you are the package maintainer for nheko on AUR. I wanted to reach out to get your thoughts on using the new repo instead of mujx's repo, as he no longer maintains the project.
