No panic. Short terms traffic fluctuations are normal, especially if you hit the top of Hacker News. Difficult to sustain those traffic levels.

Wait for more long-term trends to emerge before making changes.

Almost 50% of traffic comes from three countries: USA, UK and Germany.

62% of visitors are on laptop and desktop devices, 50% use Chrome browser (29% use Firefox) and 30% use macOS (21% use Windows).

Hacker News is the top referral source of traffic while search engines continue delivering visitors that stay the longest (more than 3 mins on average).

Google traffic has increased by 55% compared to June.

68.7k unique visitors which is a record month and a 151% increase compared to June. 27th July is our record day with 35,665 visitors.

"Plausible Connector" WordPress plugin by alyx is now available! It gives you a configuration page in your WP dashboard:

Serve the script from a custom domain
Use your self-hosted instance
Exclude admin views
Custom events enabled by default

We've now removed the "Total Visitors" line from the Goal Conversions graph. It used to dwarf the goal line for most sites so now you can easier see the conversion trends.
