@pine64eu I don't get your price policy and that there are any customers at the EU store. IMO the products should be cheaper than importing them individually, which sadly is not the case. I summed up the prize I paid to get one #PineNote to Germany, which was about 510€: https://chaos.social/@Cs137/113551088905928850
@Cs137 +1 that was exactly my question a while ago.
From what I understood when asking in the Matrix/irc channel it is due to taxes etc as mentioned, and well an additional premium for enjoying EU refund rights/guarantees.
Maybe prices could be lower if more ppl ordered from here, but I guess that's unlikely as long as they charge said premium. :/
@Cs137 @pine64eu The pricing make sense if you see it as a reseller:
If you do:
399*1.2*1.3*1.02*0.946
You get around 600 euros
That goes like: original usd price, 20% vat, 30% margin, 2% processing cards fee, and you convert it to euro.
Since there is a warranty of 2 years, it need to be covered with the 30% margin.
@pine64eu just me or is the pine note already out of stock?
