I've been exploring #gopher and #gemini for a while and I enjoy both quite a bit. Tho I find it easier to discover content on gemini compare to gopher. Search engines of gemini are a bit better. However I struggle to see many differences between the two except that gemini is heavier than gopher due to mandatory TLS encryption. Can someone explain the differences between the two?
DRM is evil. If someone won't sell you DRM free media on your terms, pirate it. RESIST.
I tried to install Axolotl on Arch and I give up. It just plain and simple won't work :(
I managed to get it to not show any errors by switching from ``nodejs`` to nodejs-lts-erbium`` but the path it should be in still doesn't exist. If any of you managed to install it i would highly appreciate some help but i wont waste another minute on that crap.

Hello everyone! I found this awesome thing called Full Text RSS developed by Five Filters that allows you to turn crippled RSS feeds into proper RSS feeds! It's FOSS and source code is hosted on bitbucket. When you type "full text rss generator" to search engine of your choice you'll find a ton of sites that use this thing, most of which are free. I used it to get proper feeds for utopia.fans and OMG! Ubuntu! works like a dream.
In 1410, King Martin of Aragon died from a combination of indigestion and uncontrollable laughter triggered by a joke told by his favorite court jester The jester’s name was Borra.
This was the joke: “In the next vineyard, I saw a young deer hanging by his tail from a tree, as if someone had so punished him for stealing figs.”]
Fun fact: if you put off doing a thing long enough, you won't have to do it anymore*
*you will instead have to do a different, more unpleasant thing
