I'm really thinking about picking up a . Its a sweet looking device, and not too expensive either. Anybody here use one? I would mostly want it for reading messages and switching songs.

I just got one 2 weeks back. It works pretty well for reading messages, if you feel the notification. The watch vibrates to indicate that something wants your attention, but that can be easy to miss in my experience.
I don't use the music controls often, because I listen to podcasts mostly, there I don't have to switch track often, but the experiences I made, it worked well.
The watch sometimes drops connection tho. Usually once or twice a day. But it is easy to reconnect.

@pavot if you’re an iOS user, those are the two features that aren’t working yet. Works great with my pinephone though, and Android people seem happy with it.

What OS are you running on your Pinephone? I haven't had success in making notifications and music control work.
@pavot beware the price, once you add shipping (which costs more than the watch itself) and brokerage fees, the watch isn't that cheap anymore.

@pavot @normandc I think it was Manjaro with KDE? I haven’t used it in a while but I remember it working okay. I’m 90% sure I remember a calendar notification coming through on the pinetime.

@pavot I'm using one for about two weeks now. I've some troubles but overall I'm very happy with it!
