You might want to *avoid* Solus (Linux distro) if you intend on using Proton for gaming. It's been broken for a while: https://boilingsteam.com/proton-and-solus-an-unstable-mix-in-2021/ #proton #solus #linux #linuxgaming #steamplay
Thousand GNU/Linux distro later, the best work flow and most perfect distro is without a doubt Fedora Spin Mate 33.
Has all the latest packages in non-free repos, latest kernel and tight SELinux and firewallD enforcing.
Dual taskbars/panels, the top one is directly in my eyes height with the most important stuff, and the bottom panel is for changing workspace or check running apps.
Everything just works after initial set-up and works well.
Tried thousands of Linux/Gnu distro.
Swedish guy.
