I was informed today that when we go back to working in the office I'll be expected to be one of the people to be there most of the time.
I've become used to rolling out of bed and just turning my computer on. This will be a readjustment.
I'm into my second week back at the office. After 14 months it's an adjustment. I share a room with a coworker (we're 4 in normal circumstances) so we have to wear masks full time, but we're told by next week it will no longer be required.
On the plus side I get to resume bicycle commuting, and I eat less for lunch. Unfortunately the scale is still not budging. Hoping to lose the covid weight gain. 🙄
@normandc I got rid of (most of the) the cookies and chips just to avoid the temptation to start eating in the evening. I replaced them with apples and oranges because I do want to eat something. With the change of the season I'm also able to ride a lot. I'm currently back at 80kg, the weight I was before Covid '19 but it took me several months.
Cookies, chips and other junk food have been banned from my home for the past two years. There's still plenty of "better stuff" to snack on in too big quantities. Like cheese, or dark chocolate. Like eating the whole bar instead of just two squares. 🙄
I gained back 4.5 kg since the pandemic, and I could easily lose as much again. It's frustrating because two years ago, my weight loss was quick and nearly effortless.
@normandc Lol, I'm addicted to dark chocolate. So I better don't have it lying around at home.
During the pandemic I had a tendency to gain weight (like many others I suppose). The gym was closed and apparently road cycling wasn't enough. Luckily I discovered cross country cycling a year ago. I did that a lot during winter and spring and I like the variation.
