It seems that Open Cascade (OCC) will participate this year in the Google Summer of Code. While I'm no fan of Google's practices, I guess GSoC remains a beneficial initiative to the FLOSS community.

One of the projects they would like a student to take on is push/pull editing. Having this directly baked into the geometric kernel would be tremendously useful to #FreeCAD and other projects that rely on OCC for B-Rep geometry creation.
