Is it normal #Apple #MacBook (air? non-Apple-silicon at least...) behavior that when you plug the charger (these small white ones without grounding) into a power socket, it makes one hell of a bang, unleashes a flash of lightning, blackens the outlet and pops the breaker?

The macbook of a student I was working with did that. After reactivating the breaker, it charged normally again (wtf).
