I'm like 20 levels deep in yak shaving, all started by the main issue that I can't get Windows running on this laptop anymore.

`dd` doesn't work for Windows ISOs anymore, UNetBootin doesn't detect any flash drives I plug in, Rufus only works for Windows, Etcher doesn't work anymore

I think I need Windows to install Windows...

@oscar Currently on clear linux, where no package for that exists. I compiled that from source but it needs grub2-install, which clear linux also doesn't have. At that point I gave up.

@njha That was my experience. You either need Windows, or you need to use an actual optical drive.

@njha I followed this guide without any issues. What was strange was only my USB 3.0 ports recognized the thumb drive, but that was probably a me issue.
