Some #music recommendations from #India :
#IndianOcean 's early works (first 4 albums) are the greatest ever. Unfortunately Spotify only has one of those: Kandisa https://open.spotify.com/album/3tybQyeUs76T0c1gFBFLzr
Some others can be found on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHmStHcd4nQ&list=PLG1hM4UAchC_H8jm_orrH83BrcpVUi7-m
For instrumental #guitar , #BlackStratBlues is fantastic: https://open.spotify.com/artist/688Lauh0j7oRekX6qHHIp1
The single most genius composition, arrangement and singing performance IMHO is this one in Malayalam by Sharreth: https://youtu.be/3BqVR3pHZFI
I have a few more recommendations listed here (not just from India): https://blog.nileshtrivedi.com/music/recommendations
But seriously, there's such a huge variety of music in India. Film music gets the most attention, but there are so many gems, especially from artists who from Hindustani / Carnatic classical, film music, folk backgrounds where they have managed to avoid crass commercialization.
