If you are encountering an issue with open source software you could either:
(1) Talk about it with its developers in a respectful manner
(2) Be a dick about it in public

Don't expect anyone to take you serious or help you in any way if you decide to go (2)

(4) pay someone (maybe the developers named in (1) ) to fix it


To be fair, the above applies *regardless* of what licence your software is under.

Twice I've seen people get fired for being abusive, once in a public user's forum and once to a support desk.
