I've been playing on a pleroma server, as I'd like to self-host at some point, but need to remember not to neglect this account 🙄
@ignitionigel Pleroma is cool. I played with it last week. In the end I gave up for now but I'm still thinking about trying it again in the future.
@nerdhochburg I joined a Pleroma instance that appeared to have reasonable terms. Turns out I need to self host, as sometimes you just need to shout at someone on the internet!

@nerdhochburg I plan to have my own general account self-hosted somewhere, and still use the interest based instances like fosstodon, as the right people are handy to interact with then.
One day, spare time isn't really a thing at the moment hah.

It's the same here with the spare time. If I ever setup my own instance again, it'd replace my other accounts I think. Three accounts consume too much time for me and I can connect to others from every instance.
@nerdhochburg very true. I considered running "interest" accounts from my instance, so photos one, like instafood; a general one; a foss one... mmm. Yeah, that could get messy fast. I guess either people like what I have to share/interact, or they don't.
