Finally got my on Friday. Tested and . The latter is already quite usable (if you can ignore that the recommended option currently is XFCE, which is not really touch-friendly).
So I decided to turn back to Fremantle for now (which still gets fixes from CSSU btw) and keep an eye on the development of both PMOS and ML. Will use it as a rock solid rockbox player for the time being. This thing even reads my big sdcard :)

@nerdhochburg fun fact, my #n900 is currently serving as my PulseAudio network soundcard.

@rysiek Yes, this is still a nice and capable toy after all those years. I was surprised to find out that there is still at least some development for it. I guess it is because this was always more of a real computer than a phone. You can run almost anything on it (albeit slow).

@nerdhochburg I kinda miss rockbox :) that was a fun project back when my music player was a wholly separate device from my dumb phone.
