@akris Yeah, I live in the U.S., so I assume **everything** just increases in cost! 😣 But yeah, the apartments I'm looking at will be same monthly price or less than what paying for home mortgage...plus there will be less things I have to pay for once I no longer own a home. πŸ˜‰

@wholesomedonut All good points for me to keep in mind; thanks!

The family unit and I are about to put our home for sale...and the next phase of our (residential) journey will have us living the apartment (or at least rental) lifestyle. I haven't lived in an apartment/flat for about 21 years. Has much changed with living in apartments in the last couple of decades??

@siege Oh I assumed they used some sort of digital telepathy (since they're somewhat symbiotic)...no? πŸ˜‰

@kev Maybe I'm not remembering this correctly, but isn't there an old saying like... If you're not buying motorcycle parts for your spouse/partner, then you are doing it wrong? πŸ˜‚

@murph Yeah that is quite a hill. Ok for a car, WAY tough for a bike!

Hey @murph I got inspired by you...so, I paid a visit to the Sheep Hill Observatory myself! πŸ˜ƒ It was a nice little diversion.

@Gina I felt this at the end of 2019 (when i lost my job)...I have a theory that it is a little similar to what scuba divers feel if they come up too fast from a deep dive...some **decompression** is needed, and your brain lets you know about it. In the case of job changes (or other drastic life changes), your brain has been under so much pressure, and now that pressure has been released way fast...but don't worry, soon enough that pressure will equalize. ;-)

I used to live on my own pleroma instance over at uribe.cafe...but now I live here. I hope to spend less time managing too many systems, and more time posting/creating content. I look forward to the future here!
