@leo Did the survey, there were no spaces for the Fediverse on it for social media. I would have selected if it were. (I put "use every day", but none of the offered networks selected.)

I set up a pretty awesome internet audio stream of over 140,000 MOD files; that's over 309 days worth of continuously streaming MOD music from 1987-1995.

It's funny how these days people on Mastodon call GNU Social a niche application. Back in Identica/StatusNet days this was the #fediverse, all of it. #getoffmylawn #duffer

Anyone else think that in times of national crisis, legitimate media sources should drop their freaking paywalls so they don't lose viewers to conspiracy-pushing right-wing sites that don't have such paywalls?

I mean, leave it up for the sports section if you want, but c'mon!

If you are a #cyclist, please share your ride photos. It would be nice to honor @pla's life of cycling after such sad news.

Please boost this if you can. Thanks.

Sad day today
Here's a bike pic I don't think I've shared here. Boonton Resevoir. @pla

Whew! I've been studying like crazy. Didn't think I had enough time to do all the requirements. But I made it. I have passed the RHCE !

@claudiom @dctrud@mastodon.social @gemlog Fedora is way ahead of both. CentOS stream will be just a point release ahead of RHEL.
My real problem is dropping the supported date for CentOS 8 from 2029 to 2021 overnight. In my opinion, they should have made good on supporting to 2029 as they originally planned. That would make people trust that CentOS stream will be a stable place to build or run from. Now, I don't know.

@mhoye Nice talk at GTAlug tonight. Very interesting.

@Starryeyes1116 and I came in second in the intermediate class in this year's Toys for Tots Teddy Bear Rally. mcnj.org Tricky route, and lots of fun!

A conference that I've always enjoyed going to in Central is going virtual this Saturday. Take a look, there are a a lot of good talks. cposc.org/
