Oh wow. So comments in Free Pascal begin and end with curly brackets? That must cause eye twitching for C programmers.

Just installed Lazarus IDE. Gonna try me some Free Pascal y'all. As someone who's not much of a programmer, this actually looks fairly easy to understand and is well documented.

7 years later and this is still one of my favorite modern classical albums.

And State Azure is live! This guy makes some pretty spectacular improvised electronic music with his modular synth setup.

Ever try to photocopy money on a digital laser photocopier?

TIL printers do more than add pale yellow tracking watermarks...they also have currency DRM!

Hinkstep’s music never fails to put me in a good mood. The music just feels positive and wholesome. If you’re a fan of dub and chillout then you’ll like this.

Took my dog out for a walk tonight with light fluffy snow falling from the sky. I put my earbuds in and started playing Eluvium’s new album. It was incredibly serene.

I got a VPS because I got a good black friday deal and now I don't know what to do with it. Hmm...

Another source of inspirational music you might like: 9128.live. It's an online radio station run by A Strangely Isolated Place (record label). Lots of great tunes on there. Mostly modern composition, down-tempo, ambient, IDM, and some experimental stuff sprinkled in.

If you're looking for something to listen to, check out generative.fm. It's generative music that will play forever and never repeat. Good for coding or just zoning out. Open-source too!

Dance like nobody is watching.
Encrypt like everyone is

I mostly listen to electronic music (ambient, wave, downtempo, etc.) but lately I can’t get enough of Starset’s new DIVISIONS album. 🎡

Welp, I tried to install the Linux Mint 19.3 beta on this crappy MacBook Air but it wasn’t having any of that. It dropped to initramfs and I suspect it had something to do with the efi partition.

The improvements and new features in the latest Linux Mint (Cinnamon) beta look great! linuxmint.com/rel_tricia_cinna

Moving over from mstdn.io. The local fauna at Fosstodon seem friendly and relatable.

Fosstodon is an English speaking Mastodon instance that is open to anyone who is interested in technology; particularly free & open source software.
