As we are preparing for the release of #emacs #orgmode 9.5, we need your help: please go through and see how you can contribute 🙏

RT appreciated, of course.

I wrote myself a small helper for automatically generating unique IDs in the mode files where I like to have them:

@omgubuntu Interesting, I have the new design since a few weeks.

@celia Yes, I think any directory owned by the current user (e.g. with chown) could work. But that's just a guess. I never dealt with rootless Docker.

@celia Maybe you can create a symlink to another location?

@hund @robby @mike My experience is, that it is both: wherever your hand currently are, you can interact with Gnome. I mostly use the keyboard, but sometimes my hands are already on the touchpad and so it is faster usign the gestures.

@garritfra I'm using it since over five years now and am pretty happy with it. In some rare occasions I have to switch to bash for some compatibility reasons but in the rest I enjoy the command suggestions and the easy scripting syntax. Have fun while trying it out!

We're excited to announce the official release of GNOME 40! After countless hours of work from the GNOME community, this release brings many exciting updates!

As of @Nextclouders 21 you can view & edit #emacs #orgmode files as text:

That's great! Another way to collaborate in real time on .org files.

@jb you're not alone. I prefer light themes (especially Gruvbox Light), too.

@publicvoit ok, short internet search session results: some websites state that he sleeps around 3-4 hours. If we say that he is awake for 20.5 hours a day we are at a mean of 1.02 lies per hour...

@publicvoit Just threw the numbers in a calculator. Thats an average of 20.92 lies per day and 0.87 lies per hour (if he lied around clock 24/7)... wtf

@lxzio have you tried the beta version of K-9 Mail (Version 5.7xx, also available on F-Droid)? It has a complete redesign based on the material design.
