But doesn't Mycroft also ship your voice samples to their cloud for processing? Or is it completely on-board the Pi? I.e., could it run without any kind of internet connectivity?


@fedops By default, they do use cloud services for processing. There's just too much stuff for a Pi to handle on its own. They also have an open source version of their backend, so you can install it on prem and not use their cloud services. That requires a lot more than a Pi to run, and I've never tried it myself, but theoretically you can run it on your Intranet without outside connectivity.
