If you get upset that someone is exercising their freedoms by using your open source code in a manner you don't like, you've missed the point of said freedoms.
@maxamillion There are problems with copyleft licenses, like the infamous internal distribution loophole of the GPL, and FOSS licenses are very pro-capitalist.
FOSS has gotten to a point where we need to address some of the shortcomings of the copyleft licenses as they are rather weak and pro-business. The GPL is still a very pro-business license. For instance, companies only have to provide the source code if asked. Code doesn’t have to ship with the product.
Fosstodon is an English speaking Mastodon instance that is open to anyone who is interested in technology; particularly free & open source software.
