So following my last post I decided to install #gentoo this weekend.

It's been a learning experience. Compiled my own kernel & initramfs for the first time (with few recompilations due to forgetting some options), manually set up a luks+lvm partition layout, and learned lots about my system, OpenRC, Portage, overlays, use flags, some important #gentoo tools and much more.

Here's a #screenshotsunday picture of it, though there's still lots to do. Haven't pulled in my old .config files yet.
