@martijnbraam it is possible to specify multiple devices for encoding and decoding, different for each video stream. What a coincidence, I am doint this right now, preparing movies for train trip.

@multi_flexi but using the same device doesn't slow down unless you hit the cap of streams that are supported, and the arc supports a lot of concurrent encoders
@martijnbraam WOW! That's fast. I should consider it for my next server setup 
@martijnbraam how do you like the Intel arc card? I was planning a similar setup but wasn't sure if it was worth it
@mitchkiah it works great for my intended use at least. This is my storage server this card is just there to do video encoding..
