Painful thing is that they obviously know this, and know they will get caught up in antitrust cases and likely even get fined.

They've considered all those costs and ramifications and calculated that this is still worth it.

That's quite telling.

@lunch Yes, Microsoft did. As did Google.

EU forced Google to not force vendors to preinstall all their apps, so Play Store and Chrome are separately licensed now.
