"The algorithms of people farmers like Twitter and Facebook are shit-stirring assholes that get off on causing as much conflict and controversy as possible."

New blog post! I talk about issues during LineageOS installation, and why in my opinion it's still hard for a non-technical user to safely install it.

Finally installed on my Redmi Note 8T.

My phone now is far more responsive, quick and it looks even better.

Privacy isn’t just about whether some corporation has your raw data or not. If your own device is tracking your behaviour & profiling you to open you up to being manipulated by corporations, that is also a violation of your privacy. Brave and Apple violate your privacy by proxy.

The ONLY valid defense of the needless ecological disaster that is Bitcoin and proof of work mining is “I have a vested interest in it.”

Anything else is bullshit.

At least be honest about it, you cunts.

Following my own advice and simply telling anyone who defends Bitcoin to fuck off and blocking them at this point.

I’ve zero interest in engaging with “fuck you, I got mine!” ecocidal dickheads.

I can’t believe I’m having to write this code in a fucking web server. What a mockery of the web, human rights, and the GDPR.

Fuck you, Google!

i've tagged out 600+ open source, experimental and tiny tools by their qualities and built a new website for sorting through them!

these are all tools towards joyful digital creation, with the goal of enabling working entirely outside of proprietary systems- moving instead from one hand-made software to another.

(the list takes submissions if it is missing yours >:))

we've achieved the point in #android ecosystem where I'm scared to download anything I don't know from Play Store, but I have absolutely no problem with trying out stuff from #fdroid

Having severe performance issues with the new GNOME 40 release, I am switching to Sway.
Here's my new blog post.

Sick of Signal adding cryptoshit, not releasing properly their server code and preventing other apps using their servers therefore preventing the existence of otherwise legitimate libre forks. I want to get rid of it.

I currently use Telegram, sometimes with private chats, to message with people. I need a secondary, backup application.

Which messaging apps would you suggest as a secondary chat? I need something simple and straightforward (something with WA/Signal ease of use)

The day has arrived. I can finally present you all my new project.
Inspired by NewPipe, Nitter, Invidious or Bibliogram, here comes Lingva, an alternative Front-end for Google Translate.

It's a completely Free and Open Source project, so you can host your own instance. The directions are on the project's README.
You can also make any kind of contribution. Feel free to Pull Request.

I finally have my own website!

Thanks to @surendrajat and his blog post, I've played around with Hugo and GitLab. It was really funny, and definitely worth my time!
