Looking for a few people to test the Exposure Notifications API of @microg

- Update your microG to microg.org/dl/core-en.apk
- Install and set up your local gov corona tracing app xda-developers.com/google-appl
- Verify that microG settings has Exposure Notifications enabled and shows the app as using it
- When you are in public tomorrow, go to microG settings again and verify that "Collected IDs" shows a higher number
- Report back here with device name and android version+rom

Thanks!

I find Kongress a great utility.

I would suggest
1.- adding notes linked to conferences and also,

2.- Fast access custom fields set up as "ask notes" for conferences you can not assist because they are concurrent or in your first day selection "must go" "may be" "should go" or as the user would like to.

If you add semi-automatic feedback to select as default ones the most used by the assistants in future versions even better.

I tried on my today and.. there has been some improvement (the Jolla account sign up works now), but the modem does not seem to be supported yet :( Also: PinePhone 1.2 users still have to select the Braveheart edition in the install script.

@manjarolinux @PINE64 Also, hitting the power button after that reboot to wake up the screen shuts the phone down. So aside from the sensation of starting Firefox and seeing Angelfish launch on , there is not much to see here, yet – I am fairly certain though that the @Manjaro Community Edition won't ship .
Still great to finally have an image to try out.

I just had a look at Alpha 0 by @manjarolinux for the @PINE64 , aiming to make a short video. Unfortunately I had not deleted my previous videos from my "recording phone" and because I am tired I won't make another attempt.
Here's what I can report:
It takes a long time to boot up.
Firefox, Discover, Angelfish and the Ubuntu Settings app come preinstalled, the keyboard did not work for me on first boot and after rebooting it asks for password with no keyboard to enter it.

The tenth edition of my weekly collection of @PINE64 news, , is out!

-boot, a first @manjarolinux image, upcoming camera support improvements and much more!

It took me a ton of time and four attempts, but I shot a 41 Minutes long video on how to install on featuring the keyboard install process, several reboots and two messaging apps.

I cut in , which will now render out for about 3 hours on my 8th gen Intel notebook running @kde Neon 20.04 (Thinkpad Yoga L380). Is there anywhere to use QuickSync/VAAPI for that? I unfortunately could not find anything.

For those, who want to check the schedule of @kde on their running @PINE64
with , this post might help you:

(It's not ready yet, I will fix the formatting and add screenshots later/tomorrow.)

If you want to use @mobian on your 3GB, you can do so starting with the nightly build as of 20200903.

And indeed, @bjarni's #Mailpile running on my VPS + mailnag running on the #pinephone itself is most definitely the superior mailclient, compared to #Geary...

Also: If I didn't misread something, I am not going to get my @postmarketOS CE for about two weeks, because shipping to the EU is done a different way this time.

Now if there is anything new users would like to know (I know that quite a few people have gotten their PinePhones lately), please feel free to @ me.
(No questions about Jumpdrive or flashing SD cards though, that has been covered in the Pine64 Wiki, on blogs and elsewhere, please search.)
