Finally! I got @postmarketOS with running on the BQ Aquaris X5.

Things learned on the way: Don't use pmbootstrap install (without the --sdcard option) on a ZFS system, it may fail inexplicably. Flash with pmbootstrap flasher flash_rootfs with the --partition-userdata option on this device. Never give up!

Also, the standard kernel does lack touchscreen support, but there is an image on the issue tracker that can be booted with fastboot.

Keyboard tiny, but really fast!

@danct12 @PINE64 It was a lot easier than it was last time I tried, no restarting of . There seems to be a new bug which centers half-width apps that have been put to the left or the right with Super+L or Super+R after Alt-tabbing to another app. Cc @agx

New video:
4: Anbox Community Service ( on III)

(Features a little special in the beginning.)

I made a new video, again about @manjarolinux on @PINE64 , this time showing Alpha 4 and GNOME 3.38 improvements in comparison. It's a little long (37 minutes), but it has chapters! Enjoy!

Before I fall a sleep, one more comment on the @ManjaroLinux image for the with that ships preinstalled. It’s really nice that they did that, but given that the network is broken unless you fix it with these three commands once Anbox is up, not working with Anbox, the filemanager not accessing /home/user and adb being currently broken on Manjaro, Anbox is useless since you can’t really install any apps. Nice idea, but.. sigh.

Having suffered from 'incoming calls don’t work with my SIM' for quite a while on most distributions on my @PINE64 , the issue is now fixed on @danct12 ‘s Huong Tram Linux/ @archlinux.

Writing a post on running /PlasmaMobile apps on based @PINE64 distributions right now. If you are aware of a complete list of Qt environment variables to properly theme apps (without qt5ct), your input is highly appreciated!

A new part of my @PINE64 is out:

This time I try to be helpful and try to explain how to get and scaling in working.

(I am going to augment the post and might produce a video on the topic later.)

I found a good approach to the 'getting that APP-ID for scale-to-fit' problem and scripted it up. It even works with flathub apps!
