The twenty-ninth edition of my weekly collection of Linux Phone news (@PINE64 , @purism and such), , is out!

Pine64 January update, @mobian Community Edition, shipping update and more!

Hey, just a small correction, @CrowderSoup is running Mobian on his BH edition, not UBports.

Apart from that, thanks for the weekly reports, much appreciated! 😀

@normandc @CrowderSoup @PINE64 @purism @mobian Thanks, it’s fixed now. I must have been thinking about UBports while typing that.

@linmob @mobian @purism @PINE64 The YAHR.IO device is so cool 😍 Unfortunately it's too expensive for me but I think it could be a good phone replacement with a physical keyboard.Another cool device is the Astro Slide 5G.I really enjoy reading about more mobile Linux devices with physical keyboards. This one is too expensive for me,too but its hardware specs are really good so I think it's absolutely worth it.Let's see if it will be able to run the Mainline Kernel some day.I've read MediaTek processors can be really difficult to support. And in fact I also made this experience myself but in my case the manufacturer also violates the GPL so it's not fully MediaTeks fault.I like how the development of Linux smartphones is getting faster and now I really think that it will be possible to use a Linux smartphone as a daily driver before my good old Blackberry Passport needs to be replaced.
