@garritfra My strongest argument for tabs is that they are more accessible for a variety of accommodation needs. https://adamtuttle.codes/blog/2021/tabs-vs-spaces-its-an-accessibility-issue/
Everyday products and services must be accessible for all, including public transport, banking services, or online shopping.
The European Accessibility Act must be in national law from today to make life easier for 87 million Europeans who have disabilities.
Mastodon – Simplified Federation by @rugk makes remote follows less cumbersome by automatically entering your Mastodon account details and puts that functionality where it should be: in your browser.
You can get it for Firefox from:

Isn’t it just a matter of checking if there request IP originates from a bot?
If so do nothing and return an empty 200 response, else handle auth token and either return 200 or 401

@janriemer @markusl That's also very true; to have the imagination to avoid an overly large technical debt. Something that definitely will bite you in software with a multi-decade lifetime.
@ta180m for a less #clickbait toot:
Here’s a #dictionary and #thesaurus web #api with #glob like functionality.
For the humans among us: they have a webpage too.
Violate one license and you’re a criminal. Violate every license and you’re an AI.

PSA: To everyone who is #NewHere, and those who are not.
When you use hashtags it can help those using a #ScreenReader to use #CamelCase. Screen-readers can then find and pronounce the constituent words, rather than trying to pronounce the whole thing.
It's not essential, but it's one way we can make the Fediverse more welcoming.
@Iutech I saw this as well: on #brave turns out to be brave’s #dnsoverhttps was not working at the same time #cloudflare was down, coincidence unlikely.

Extension finger printing is a thing, another reason to you #firefox compared to #brave or #vivaldi

Hope you enjoy!
Just followed my first #Gitea account from the #fediverse! Here is now my first time mentioning a Gitea account: @Ta180m@git.exozy.me!
Thank you @ta180m@exozy.me for your work!
Screenshots are from follow flow via @tootapp!
@ale indeed, there are plenty self-hosted #gitea servers.
This is why #forge federation will be so cool, as it wil tie them together in a large whole, and with that open the ecosystem and create a level playing field, that can weigh up to #Github network effects and #FOMO.
There's also a volunteer collective dedicated to provide easy #hosting of Gitea + #WoodpeckerCI + Pages and the ability to self-host again at any time. And they have a Clinic to help upgrade you self-hosted server: @hostea
@guenther for those confused about the backlash on #RustFoundation promoting more efficient #crypo please read into the Jevons Paradox.
I try to keep a productive/helpful tone.Also I prefer tabs, sized at 3 😈
