400 million downloads of #LibreOffice since we started! More and more people are moving to the office suite that respects your privacy, doesn't mine your data, and doesn't force AI onto your workflow: https://blog.documentfoundation.org/blog/2025/01/30/400-million-downloads-and-counting/ #foss #opensource #freesoftware
I use it, it's great!
Now, can you make a program like the 2007 version of OneNote, please?
@Walrus Hi! As a volunteer-driven, community open source project, we have very limited resources and focus on the core office suite components. If you'd like more, please consider helping our volunteers, or funding developers: https://www.documentfoundation.org/certified-developers/
I'd like the LibreOffice devs to keep doing what you're doing. There's good reason why it's on every non-server machine I have.
It does what I need, it doesn't do what I don't want, and y'all let me use it even when I'm on hard times.
Thank you for what you do.
Paired with Kontact from KDE, and it's like I have my whole suite from the late 90s (in a good way, not saying it's outdated).
My last full time job DEMANDED I use MS Office. Heh... I used to do all my work in LibreOffice, and then import it in MS to stick on the crap they'd check for.
