#LibreOffice 24.2 (with new "year.month" version scheme) is coming in a few days! One of the many new features is additional meta data fields for your documents: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/24.2#Core_/_General
@libreoffice
Why does my "up to date" version say it is 7.6 ? That's a big numbering jump.
@the5thColumnist Because LibreOffice 24.2 hasn't been released yet. As the post you're replying to says, it comes "with a new year.month version scheme". This is a common request from end users, to make the version number more meaningful, so they know if they're using an old version!
@libreoffice
OK, misread the meaning first time, thought it was a change in date notation not version numbering, thanks.
@libreoffice@fosstodon.org Does it have a better EPUB export that doesn't require manual post-fixing in Sigil or Calibre?
@zakalwe You can see all the changes in the Release Notes that we linked to! If there's something else you want, you can help our community to improve it, or consider funding a developer! Then all users benefit
@zakalwe
Hmm, what manual post-fixing was required? I haven't encountered that yet.

Cool. Would be useful for tracking story submissions, to a small extent.
