👍Cheers to Android running inside Linux somewhat natively. Although its still in its buggy stages I think there is a bright future for FOSS, #fdroid and Linux when this project matures.
It means more entertainment apps for Linux (games and stuff). It means more value for the #fdroid project as well.

After some wiring confusion and rework, I've moved my computer design off the breadboard and into VHDL. I'm new to VHDL, but this is great so far because I can see all the signals in gtkwave and am getting a better understanding of what I'm doing. Here's a test of LDA and MOV A,B. I should be able to verify the design in VHDL and be more confident planning and building the circuit boards for the hardware version.
Didn't realize this was a thing. A CLI Dvorak tutor. Found something to do on my day off.

We are getting ready! The Transition freeze begins 01-12, during this freeze, packages with failing autopkgtests are blocked from testing. This is the 1st of 3 freeze periods toward the release of Debian 10 (codename: buster). https://release.debian.org/buster/freeze_policy.html
Hello :). I've been meaning to make an #introduction for a while, but have fallen into old lurking ways.
I'm a backend software developer. Stuff wot I'm interested in includes open source software, running, Zen, minimalism, and cats.
Hoping I can find a bit of a community here and do less mindlessly passive social media reading :).
Oh wow, #syncthing just released v1.0.0. Really great piece of software and kudos to the dev team and all contributors!
Visual Studio Code seems like such a great editor. But this data collection paragraph in the license agreement kinda bugs me. Some of the collection you can't even opt out of. Granted it's Microsoft we're talking about. But still, I hope this doesn't somehow make data collection seem more acceptable in open source.
Decided to check out the new Runescape (https://www.runescape.com/community). Impressive! I'm in Manjaro. I installed it from the AUR. But coming from Old School before it was Old School Runescape, this game has come a long ways in terms of graphics and performance.

I'm a veteran GNU/Linux user (25 years) and now running Linux Mint Cinnamon on a Toshiba Satellite laptop and self-built desktop Core i5 8400 desktop with GTX1050ti graphics. My interests are programming using the GNU toolchain and I want to produce some YouTube screencasts to introduce others to GCC and Autotools. #introductions
I'm currently in the process of getting all my public information removed from various websites following a workbook from Michael Bazzel at #IntelTechniques and I'm hoping it includes something about getting my public information removed from here as well.
The workbook is linked below along with his website. His podcast has to be my favourite if you're looking for any recommendations 😉
