I really miss going out with people. Even if I am a proper introvert, I really like having a laugh in front of a beer with my friends and getting to know new people, from time to time.
Fortunately I've got a good internet connection and so do my friends, but it feels like speaking to two dimensional ghosts.
But I also need to remind myself that I've been lucky so far, my grandparents are ok, my parents too, I still have a job and I can afford to continue studying. I am so grateful for that.

Hello folks, my WebRTC-based real-time cinema is now opensource: https://github.com/torniostream, if you wanna spin up a clone or contribute. Code is pretty ugly at the moment :)
Does anyone know any ffmpeg trick to generate a h264 file (no preferred container format) that is both light on CPU decoding and fast to re-encode on the fly? I am asking because I wanna try to play a bunch of movies through WebRTC and Kurento only offers CPU decode and re-encode. Does CBR vs CRF offer any advantage?
wlroots 0.12.0 is released!
Started experimenting with Kurento Media Server and WebRTC, I want to build a remote cinema for friends, to watch movies together in real-time with shared controls, if one pauses then it pauses also for everyone else. I know there are projects that already do that but I wanted to do my own thing. Plus, Spring looks like a neat piece of software.
I'm really digging this Spotify playlist:
DRM is evil. If someone won't sell you DRM free media on your terms, pirate it. RESIST.
