The spread of conspiracy/delusion is proof that moderation at scale is an impossible problem (not to speak of election meddling, mental health problems, genocides).

Smaller, decentralized communities work better:

@karan Maybe those of us who are aware and care can prefer smaller, decentralized communities. But it still leaves the problem of large scale social networks which need to be "moderated" or somehow deal with manipulation (foreign state actors) and [md]isinformation campaigns. I fear we, over here, are sticking our heads in the sand.
