Just have to say - ever since I’ve been active on Fosstodon, little did I know I would be less likely to compulsively check toots, feel so much better reading the (curated) timeline and just enjoy reading what others have to say - not always on a daily basis. This actually feels somewhat healthy. And this is not about a race to the bottom for attention. Nice.

Today is a good day. Tomorrow, a little vacation begins with the fam. I need to get away from work.

#Puremaps on the #PinephonePro is surprisingly slick and decent. It's still got a few ugly #UI #UX quirks, but it makes it easy enough to enter a destination, get rapid directions, including turn-by-turn with voice and a nice 3d map as you go. It even seems to have traffic data?! (not sure where that's from...) and it's available directly in #KDE's #Discover app.

I was honestly expecting it to take 2-3 more years to get something this decent on #MobileLinux.

Way to go PureMaps team!

Just ordered the 256 Steamdeck...I hope it is worth it. I've been on the wait list since last year. Fingers crossed.

There was some performance issues on Joplin Cloud over the past two days, but they should now be resolved. Apologies if you had issues with sync. Moreover the service has been upgraded to a larger instance which should increase stability and performance! #joplincloud

Postmarket seems to have taken the time to put a lot of key apps into alpine linux repositories

THE PROBLEM: You want to use Thunderbird 102 right now, but your client is not auto-updating.

THE SOLUTION: In order to ensure smooth, bug-free upgrades, we're rolling out the automatic update from Thunderbird 91 to 102 gradually. However, you can download Thunderbird 102 manually from thunderbird.net and install it in the same location you have Thunderbird 91 installed.

This will serve as an upgrade from 91 to 102, and your data, settings, and profile will be preserved.

Anyone use ‘Element’ for Matrix on iOS or Android? Thoughts?

I wired the brick up as a very small external monitor, so you can, for instance, play Doom on it.

@BuddiesOfBudgie v10.6.2 should be coming soon. All bug fixes, one of which fixes a rather major problem with non-vendored applets that's been around for *literal years*. Coming soon to your local distribution!
