I had a few problems with files being 0 bytes when copied and I'm not sure if it was because of the file managers or not.
SimpleFileManager is really clean and simple where GhostCommander is less clear and more complex, but with more options (couldn't unzip anything on SimpleFileManager and on Ghost it worked perfectly).
Wondering what people are using.
Thanks! 😀

Can we make Friday a thing? There are many free and/or software makers that deserve a shoutout.

I'll start. @libreoffice is incredible. I keep being amazed by how good it works, how it plays well with Msft standards, and how nice the online version is and that it's completely free. Awesome community. Thanks all.

Who would you like to boost for Friday?

Any recommendations for Finance Managers?
I've been using Money Manager from Realbyte but wanted to change to a foss alternative.
Been reading about -ledger but I'm not entirely sure that's what I'm looking for. I know that there are android apps that serve as a front-end to the web platform, like and (these are the ones I saw in ).
Does anyone have any experience with these that can shed some light on the subject?
Or any other apps that you use.
Thanks!

Next step is deGoogle myself, but that one is going to take more time and dedication, which I don't have while travelling.

So I finally installed and while I'm at it, I'm trying to change some of my apps.
So I'm looking for alternatives to Xodo (pdf, epub reader), Office Suite.
I'm using Blokada and AFWall+ and I'm looking for a VPN, password manager and a PGP app as well.
I'm looking for recommendations on the apps I'm searching for and opinions on the ones I'm using at the moment.
Thanks for the help 😉

Steps to learning vim:

Step 1: open vim.

Step 2: Reboot your pc to successfully exit.

Step 3: Spend some time in vimtutor trying to figure out what is wrong with you.

Step 4: Realise you don't have enough free time to start getting into it.

Step 5: Go back to your boring editor.
