I don't write (much) C or (any) Fortran/C++, so I've never used it. What do you like so much about it?

@codesections I'm not entirely sure. Maybe it's just a feeling I get when using it. :/

@jordan31
Been using it on and off for a university course, it's pretty nice.

@kiri @jordan31 same I used it in a c++ class and it was okay. QtCreator is also a good C ide, if you convince it to support a makefile by giving it a fake cmake project or something

@jordan31
O mean, o ised ot in school for c and c++ but kther then that can't say much. Seems quite ok tho. Atm just using emacs for my programming needs. Anf they are very little.

@Twelve Emacs is cool. I personally get lost in it. If it's terminal editor I'll choose NeoVim. For GUI I sometimes use Atom.

I'm also looking into using Code (renamed from Scratch) from the Elementary distro. It's the default text editor there.

@jordan31
Yes, emacs is quite confusing and honestly. I bearly know how to use it, so honna gind a day wear i xan just sit down and start to learn some of it.
