bash script included (long toot)

Day 21: Installed on linux to try it out, and wanted to turn it blue...

term_color_cmd(){
new_bg="#$1"
new_fg="#$2"
shift 2
command="$@"
old_bg=`xtermcontrol --get-bg`
old_fg=`xtermcontrol --get-fg`
xtermcontrol --bg "$new_bg"
test "$new_fg" != "-" && xtermcontrol --fg "$new_fg"
$command
xtermcontrol --bg "$old_bg"
xtermcontrol --fg "$old_fg"
}

alias pwsh="term_color_cmd 012456 - pwsh"

bash script included (long toot)

This can be used to change the background (and foreground!) of any terminal app. For example a light blue on purple theme for nano:

alias nano="term_color_cmd 221133 ccffff nano"
