@joel What is engineer licensing like in MX? Here in the states I can get a license after I graduate with a degree and take their exam, but it is only a "preliminary" license until I do a few years of work and then take another test. Odd system, but I'm curious how other places do it.

Also, does it bring any benefits other than pay increase? Here it lets you give the stamp of approval on project plans that require it, which is the only reason why some companies will pay more.
