Joel :void: :casio:

keeps dominating my playtime on the

... I still don't get to the main campaign.

for is challenging but completable!

is 4th, with one of the best introductory acts in the genre!

@joel advanced wars always looked like fun, but for some reason I'm incapable at playing strategy games I just can't do it right :p so I just get a couple of missions in and then it gets too hard for me :6

@sotolf yes AW is very challenging but still fun, playing the tutorials is what I've done lol, they are fun though.

I think a good introduction would be for the or !

I'm sure @amin agrees with the last one ;)

@joel @amin I've played both of them, I was horrible at both :p I think FF tactics advance was the only one I played for a bit longer time back in the day, now I've mostly made my peace with them mostly just not being games for me :p

@joel @sotolf

Into the Breach was a fun challenge, yeah, and even having beat it there’s still a ton to unlock and try out in different combinations.

@sotolf @joel have the same problem with Advance Wars, yet i’m quite the strategy game fan, i’ve finished many fire emblem games on hard, and they’re made by the same studio…

@steffo @joel for me it's strategy games in general, give me more than two characters to control and I crumble :p

@sotolf @joel I was not interested in strategy games but recently I completed AW tutorial and some missions afterwards.

@tevin @joel for me it's not about interest, but about skill.

@joel you're getting close to my hours on the Mario saga, what part have you made it up to?

@kingslayer69O69 I am where the ship sinks into the ocean and the beanstar bit is carried by the current to somewhere

@joel killer, I don't remember exactly where I'm at, I'll have to check on my miyoo whenever I get home, I didn't bring it with me to work today

@joel I got pretty far in Celeste on PSP but didn't quite finish it. I take it save states are pretty helpful for coming back to it later? I also found some maneuvers tricky with the PSP dpad.

@jp yeah save states are good to keep the progress, not very useful for levels when they are one screen long lol, but still good to not be forced to beat it in one sitting

@heyfluxay the Pico-8 version yes. There's also a GBA demake lol

@joel this looks so cool, something the original console could never have.
