Hi folks! 9 years ago (to the day), the late Aaron Swartz made the first commit to SecureDrop, which was then called DeadDrop. Today the project is used by >70 media orgs around the world.

It's an open source whistleblower submission platform that uses the Tor network to protect source anonymity. We're also working on a next-generation integrated workstation for journalists based on Qubes OS:

We're happy to be here!

i agree with the publishers on the emergency library case but i still kinda hope the IA wins.

does that make me a bad person?

checking out haiku r1 beta 2. so far so good. that means wifi worked out of the box box :)

My current best keyboard. Same dome and slider switches as some models of Dell quietkey.

HHGTTG: Virus Edition. Do you know where your paper towel is?

I would love to use the "advanced layout" on . The only thing it is missing is the ability to adjust the width of the columns. I'd love to have a feed column that's 2/3 of the screen and a notifications column that's 1/3.

to close this up, they refunded my 2nd payment within 3 days.

Virus

Just saw and official say they can't process unemployment claims because their mainframe systems were create in the 70s, when she was born.

That's total BS. The reason many mainframe systems aren't up to various tasks is more likely that they haven't been maintained and improved adequate since the 70s. It's still THE platform for processing transactions. Stop programming them like it's the 70s, "Dinosaur brains: Designing and coding for the mainframe as if it stopped evolving in the 1970s.

it's a small thing but I installed ff 75 and thought i was drunk trying to find the drop down on the address bar :)

i've finally buckled down and started coding like i did in my younger days.

I have and account and checked out the emergency library and totally agree.

I just watched a couple give pretty detailed information on the woman's mother's medical condition. I work in the healthcare industry and couldn't help but wonder about the laws against sharing personal health information and whether they got permission from the patient to share the information.

just spent a bit on tiktok. i was told vine died but looks like it was just reincarnated.
