Bash tip of the day:

mkdir -p make/new/directory

cd !$

It does what you think

@jarbus I recommend to create an alias for that :ablobcatreach: I made one and only need to type `mkcd new_dir`

@jarbus Ooo, there is also my :

$ apt update
$ sudo !!

The !! will be replaced with the previous line (I use it a lot, I often forget sudo :blobcatderpy:)

@jarbus you can achieve the same by typing

cd ESC.

(I.e. the ESC key then a period)

@crappo Doesn’t work with vi keybinds in the terminal emulator :(
