This teaching of "CRT" is going too far!

Today little Güñthër came home and said:
"Given n₁..nₖ ∈ ℤ, nᵢ pairwise coprime, and a₁...aₖ ∈ ℤ,
x ≡ a₁ (mod n₁)

x ≡ aₖ (mod nₖ)

uniquely determines x mod N, where N = ∏nᵢ"

and our dog started crying! Parents should have the *choice* for their children to learn about ring isomorphisms!
