I think @cfenollosa makes some really good points here, and I couldn't agree more about his thoughts regarding the local timeline. I'm incredibly proud of the community that we've built up here on #Fosstodon.

@mike @cfenollosa This is how I use Fosstodon as well. I discover new users either from boosts from the people I follow or randomly browsing the local timeline every now and then when I'm caught up on my personal timeline.
