Apologies to anyone that remembers I existed here. I had to go away for a while for mental health reasons. Slowly adjusting back into everything again and feeling healthy and happy. Slowly working hard on web development and learning and building towards the future.

I’ve been absent from a majority of my social media lately due to mental health reset and figuring out things. Slowly merging back in and getting back to it. Just had to get straight. Luckily this community hasn’t changed much and is still as awesome as ever. I’ll be posting more in the coming days.

Hello mastodon friends.

I've read a couple of posts on social media recently about blog discovery being broken. I see these every now and again, but this time I thought I would try to do something to help.

If you have time, please take a look at dev.upvote.blog

The site is in development & I'm still working on it, but you can test it out. Would it be useful, or am I wasting my time?

Comments, criticism etc appreciated.

I haven’t played console video games in probably 8 years so it took some convincing for my work friends to get me in on the new COD Warzone. Overall I like it and don’t feel too shabby.

Can anyone tell me, pertaining to the Write.as API, do I need to add the API key to be able to pull my own posts to post on my own blog? When I did a request through Postman it shows my username at the /me level but when I add /me/posts it says bad request. I think I’m messing something up but not sure what exactly. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Got my new React project in the works. Figured out my API call for Dev with the help of a friend and now just need to figure out Write.as and I’ll be set to finish up building the components and styling and structure. Hopefully be pushing the project out soon.

@write_as have a question with the API. I want to retrieve my posts to Push through my React blog page. The HTTP url for write.as/api/me returns my username but when I put posts after it gives me a 406 bad request error? Do I need to add in the authentication to be able to view my posts and pull that data?

@omniscion hey btw

Day 3 of the series. This one isn’t great but it’s part of it so I am sticking with it.

Also submitted to @kev new site for this little hashtag adventure. Hopefully I did that correctly. 😰
