I'm at a point in my frontend ability where I feel like I should be learning a framework so I don't have to write plain JS or rely on jQuery.

What should I start learning to take my web apps to the next step?

I'm lazy af when it comes to checking website certs at work and troubleshooting issues related to SSL and people not being a able to connect to some obscure site that everyone else somehow is able to reach.

That's until I found digicert.com/help. It's a SSL Certificate Checker. I wrote a short post about it - julioj.com/2017/11/ssl-certifi

Nice!

There are some that are not concerned about the loss of Net Neutrality regulation. I've already seen some of these behaviors from my own ISP, and Net Neutrality isn't gone yet. I dread to think what will happen without these regulations.

PSA: Google just activated on every account a feature that tracks your location (or approximate location) when and where you do every action. So it doesn't just record "Listened to Cher 17 times on November 29th" it also adds the PRECISE GPS coordinates of WHERE you listened to Cher 17 times.

I would advice going into your account activity settings and disabling this!

<<Rule of thumb: assume every stranger you encounter has an invisible disability, a private inconsolable grief, or are in the midst of an undetectable crisis.

Offer each other moments of respite and grace.

Don’t allow projective envy to fool you into thinking you are the only or the most vulnerable person you will encounter in your day.

I listen to people’s sorrows and secrets every day - and every one is broken - especially the people you imagine are not.>>

Do you enjoy listening to unusual electronic music? Well you're in luck! I make the weirdest, and I also let other weirdsmiths partake in the bounty of my synth presets, plus melodies I couldn't find a use for.

It's still a new thing, so there's not much yet, but I have lots of ideas and some things ready to post. Patrons get shiny perks.

I wish we could boost-with-commentary.

So boost is like reply, in a way, though you can skip the comment and just do a pure boost.

It allows people who want to share something to explain why they're sharing it. Value-added commentary.

It's personalizing. And that's good. 💯
