This was too good not to share. Apologies for pointing to the bird domain and all that. Copy an image, it gets run through OCR, paste the text.
@iconnorclast But we already have an OCR function? It usually needs at least some manual editing though
@Gargron oh great, apologies for missing that. I think OCR that needs some manual editing is probably the best thing to aim for without heavy funding or support and someone who knows a lot more about ML than I do.
@Gargron wouldn't something like this be great for the alt-text population?
