This is too funny. It's apparently a scandal and upsetting when Swedish politicians gets secretly surveillanced by the USA, but it's totally okay for the Swedish government (and basically the rest of the world to surveillance the people of Sweden in the name of "security" and profit.

@rune :D

@hund I was considering translating it to english, but then I remember it doesn't translate. Luckily it does translate to swedish 😄

@rune It was a rather fun saying. :D

@rune @hund what is wrong with "double standards"? isn't it twice as good?

danish saying shamelessly google translated to swedish

@setto @hund it translates more or less directly to hypocritical.

Having standards means you're a person of moral character. Having double standards just means the rules only apply to other people and you do whatever you want. Which IMO is one of the most despicable attributes a politician can have.

danish saying shamelessly google translated to swedish

@rune so how do you say "dubblemoral" in Danish?

danish saying shamelessly google translated to swedish

@setto "dobbeltmoral"

@hund Well I guess better the devil you know :p

@hund Vill bara tillägga att Jens Holm (som intervjuas i artikeln och är förbannad) och Vänsterpartiet var emot t.ex. FRA-lagen och har rätt bra integritetspolitik:

@samuel Självklart förstår jag att inte *alla* politiker är av samma skrot och korn. :)
